MARK BLUNDELL AND THE WORKHOUSE JOIN FORCES AHEAD OF 2019 BTCC CAMPAIGN

MB Partners are delighted to announce that Mark Blundell is teaming up with The Workhouse to kick start his pre-season fitness campaign ahead of his debut in the British Touring Car Championship. With the new season shaping up fast, the former Formula One star has joined forces with the Cambridgeshire luxury health and fitness retreat to take advantage of their unique and varied facilities to support his pre-season preparation.

Set in the secluded rural grounds of Hemingford Park Hall, the Workhouse specialises in offering exclusive corporate and individual retreats that focus on exercise and tailored nutrition. A fitness retreat that exercises not only the body but the mind, the Workhouse’s expert team are well-placed to offer a memorable corporate team-bonding experience like no other with health and wellness at its core.

Having recently hosted the hugely successful inaugural MB Partners pre-season training camp for all of its professional and talented racing drivers, the fitness facilities stand well up to the professional test.

Heading into the new season, Mark Blundell is delighted to have the support of the Workhouse as he bids to get fighting fit ahead of his racing return.

“Having enjoyed the first-class facilities at the Workhouse alongside our entire racing stable, I am delighted to be working with them throughout the year. It is fair to say that getting back to race fitness has been a focal point since January with the new challenge of the BTCC in mind but, like always, one that I have committed myself to entirely. The team at the Workhouse have been fantastic in terms of my physical fitness and exercise programme as well as their nutrition and diet advice and I know they’ll play a huge role in my season.”

Rachel Kaziewicz, the founder of the Workhouse, is proud to be supporting Mark’s return to elite-level competition.

“Mark has already been working with our expert mentors for a number of weeks and the results are clear to see. Although he has not been racing for a while, you can see that the level of professionalism is as strong as ever and he has really bought into his new fitness and nutrition programme. He’s providing a real example of the effectiveness of our facilities and our team and we look forward to helping many others to similar results in the months to come.”
