SAFFERY CHAMPNESS TEAM UP WITH MARK BLUNDELL AHEAD OF BRITISH TOURING CAR CHAMPIONSHIP CAMPAIGN

MB Partners are delighted to announce that Saffery Champness, one of the UK’s Top 20 accountancy firms, have entered into a new partnership with Mark Blundell ahead of his debut British Touring Car Championship campaign. Continuing their long-standing relationship with MB Partners, 2019 will see Saffery Champness enjoy corporate branding on Blundell’s #8 car as well as further activation opportunities alongside the former Formula One star across the season.

A leading adviser to entrepreneurs and to the sports and creative industries sectors, the new partnership strengthens Saffery Champness’ relationship with elite level sport by establishing a new association with the highest level of motor racing across the UK - the British Touring Car Championship.

Having been a founding member of the MB Partners Official Partner Programme since 2015, Mark Blundell is delighted to be representing the Saffery Champness brand as he takes to the track this season for his racing return.

“Myself and the MB Partners team are proud to have worked alongside Saffery Champness for a number of years now and it is fantastic news that they will be joining the excitement of my racing return. I’m delighted to be carrying their branding on the #8 car this year and am looking forward to hosting their team and their clients across the season.”

Julian Hedley, Partner at Saffery Champness, shares in Mark’s delight at the strengthened partnership and is looking forward to maximising the opportunities that it will provide.

“We have enjoyed a very strong relationship with MB Partners and their broader commercial network across the last few years and this is the next step in that partnership. Mark’s return to the grid has been a huge story over the past month and we are incredibly excited to be involved in what will be a very memorable campaign ahead.”

Mark’s return to action steps up a gear at this month’s official Championship media day on the 27th at Brands Hatch before the season finally gets underway on the 7th April at the Kent-based track.
